Asphalt milling scheduled for Windmill Drive on Friday, September 9th

SPEARFISH, SD – Asphalt milling operations will take place on Windmill Drive from the Woodlands Drive intersection west for approximately 1,000 feet.  This will affect parking along Windmill Drive and through traffic on September 9th.

Milling refers the removal of the top layer of the asphalt pavement, and the milling of this section of Windmill Drive will result in a rough and uneven surface. Windmill Drive will be reopened for normal use upon completion of the milling operation.

Additional announcements will be sent out to notify when overlay paving of Windmill Drive is to take place.

Questions? Please contact Glen Citrowske with GTI Companies, Inc. at (605) 641-7645 or the City of Spearfish Public Works Department at (605) 642-1333.

There will be a public meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, September 15, in Council Chambers, on the second floor of Spearfish City Hall, to update the public about the Sandstone Hills construction project.
