GARBAGE UPDATE:

Recently a schedule change was made by our garbage contractor. This change was made on a trial basis and Sander Sanitation has come to the conclusion this schedule change is not providing sufficient service to our customers.

In order to serve our residents with the best service, we will return to the original schedule, in hopes our garbage service meets all resident’s needs. If you were originally scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday pickup, you will be collected on your normal days starting Monday, January 16th. We sincerely apologize in advance for the recent confusion and changes. Your patience is greatly appreciated. Please spread the word. In advance, the City of Lead thanks you for your support.

Following is an outline of garbage pickup days in Lead:

• Monday—Washington Area, through Main Street, Hearst Ave, Baltimore, areas west of Grand Ave, including Grand Ave. & associated streets

• Tuesday—Mile High, areas east of Grand, Mill St area, Park Ave area & associated streets

• Wednesday—Sunnyhill area, Ridge Rd, Miners Ave area, Terraville Ave, 1st, 2nd, 3rd Streets, Hearst S/D & associated streets

Please Zoom in to find your area.
