National American University-Ellsworth AFB Extension enrolls 269 undergrads

At National American University-Ellsworth AFB Extension, 67 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 72 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Ellsworth Air Force Base enrolled 269 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 13.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

80 percent of undergraduates are residents of South Dakota.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (60 percent) and Black or African American (15 percent).
