Of the 1,239 people living in Lemmon in 2019, 51.3 percent (636) were women and 48.7 percent (603) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Western South Dakota News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 374-to-349. In the 65 and over age range, there were 187 females and 156 males.
