Of the 427 people living in Keystone in 2019, 43.3 percent (185) were women and 56.7 percent (242) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Western South Dakota News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 167-to-119. In the 65 and over age range, there were 20 females and 31 males.
