Census Bureau: More women than men in Green Valley in 2019

Of the 1,227 people living in Green Valley in 2019, 53.5 percent (657) were women and 46.5 percent (570) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Western South Dakota News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 420-to-325. In the 65 and over age range, there were 60 females and 88 males.
