ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by the Public Works Director that are appropriate to this job description.

• Managing, renting, cleaning, and maintaining all stables, stalls, and corrals.

• Maintain and provide accurate records of the amount of fees charged, collected, and amount of use (number of animals) of the stables, stalls, and corrals to the City Services Clerk on a weekly basis.

• General security and oversight of the Roundup Grounds Complex.

• Maintenance, care, and upkeep of the grandstands and all areas of the Roundup Grounds Complex, which includes baseball, softball, and soccer fields and their structures.

• Promptly report any necessary major repairs or improvements needed.

• Turning on and off lights as needed by patrons using the Roundup Grounds.

• Opening and closing facilities as needed by patrons.

• Watering and preparing the rodeo arena for all authorized arena events.

• Assist in setting and moving fence panels, gates, and area equipment for all authorized Complex events.

• Repairing all fencing, panels, gates, and arena equipment.

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends during spring, summer, and fall.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);

• Or one to three months related experience and/or training;

• Or equivalent combination of education and experience
