Of the 1,288 people living in Lemmon in 2020, 54.1 percent (697) were women and 45.9 percent (591) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Western South Dakota News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 13. In the 65 and over age range, there were 204 females and 149 males.
