Of the 1,082 people living in Ashland Heights in 2020, 41.5 percent (449) were women and 58.5 percent (633) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Western South Dakota News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 307. In the 65 and over age range, there were 142 females and 10 males.
