Census Bureau reports Hot Springs population was 3,498 in 2020

Hot Springs had a population of 3,498 people in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Western South Dakota News.

The median age was 52, with 47.3 percent of the total population being female and 52.7 percent male.

The state's total population in 2020 was 879,336.
