BE CAREFUL IN RAPID CITY WOMEN & CHILDREN!!
There were three men in Rapid City Target that followed Bella and I around the store this evening. We stayed in the front of the store before we started being followed. A short (india) indian man started staring at us and following us around the front of the kids section.
It felt like we were being followed. So we started walking towards the cosmetics isle to get away. We walked around the first isle, then started walking towards the third isle of the cosmetics area. When we got into the third isle, they all three starting circling us again while we were in the isle. I went to the front of the isle where they all were and yelled “watch out there are some creepy men around here” loudly to let them know I was suspicious of them while I was starring at them.
They just stood there and stared at me. It was like they didn’t understand what I said and kept staring at me, while I stared back at them. It seemed like forever but they finally started walking towards to the back of the store to the electronics. As they walked away, we went straight to the front to check out.
While I was in the checkout line I asked the lady if they had security. She said yea I think so. I said there are three men that have been circling us since we walked in and requested an escort to our vehicle.
As I told her, I looked over and saw all three men standing like they were checking out right behind me. The short one came right behind me in the checkout. I was looking where the other two went but couldn’t see where they were walking off too. It was super creepy. They guy just kept starring at us.
I looked at her and said this man is one of the three men following us around. She finally directed me to the lady in the self checkout. I walked straight over to her and while I was talking to her I noticed the other two men at the front door.
I told her I needed an escort out to my vehicle because there were three men following us around the store and two of the three were at the front door waiting.
While we were walking out the two men started going back into the store. So I pulled out my phone and took these photos while the lady walked us out.
We wonder why there are so many young women and children that go missing in our community.
They are stalking us!! We were stalked and followed tonight. They kept looking at Bella every time I would look at them.
Be aware of your surroundings!!! Don’t be afraid to ask to be walked to your car by security or staff.
I called to store after we got home and talked to the store manager and explained what happened to us. I gave her times, description of the three men and they lady who checked us out.
She wasn’t much help offered to walk around the store after we got off the phone and to chase them out of the store if they were still there. I asked her what they do to make their customers feel safe and she said they can request to be walked out.
She didn’t seem interested in helping me any further so I got off the phone with her. She said security would review the footage but didn’t take my name or number. So I don’t know what happens after they see the footage if they even were to see something happen.
Has anyone had anything like this happen to them lately in Rapid?
It seems like it’s getting worse here. I thought Target was safe but it’s not. If it could happen to us it could happen to you and your family.
