**TIME IS RUNNING OUT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SURVEY**

Please take a few minutes to complete the Parking Management Plan Survey. Your input counts!

The City of Deadwood is looking at opportunities to improve parking operations and management, especially during the busy times of the year when Historic Deadwood draws hundreds of thousands of visitors. The city is currently undergoing the development of a Parking Management Plan in collaboration with national parking experts Walker Consultants.

The purpose of the planning effort is to assess how on and off-street parking in Deadwood is being used, identify issues and opportunities, and develop a plan for operating and managing parking now and into the future. The city expects continued growth and change for Historic Deadwood, along with maintaining its status as a premier visitor destination for history, gaming, recreation, and entertainment.

Promoting a high-level of access and customer service for residents, businesses, and visitors, maintaining its unique heritage and vibrancy, and ensuring efficient use of parking resources are key guiding principles for the city as it operates and manages parking. The Parking Management Plan will help plan for future growth and changes and serve as a strategic roadmap to guide operations and management.

We need your input! Please take the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YW39GMV and tell us about your experience and ideas related to parking in Historic Deadwood.

The development of the Parking Management Plan is expected to run through summer 2023.
