77.3% of Meade County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 29,561 citizens living in Meade County in 2021, 77.3% were old enough to vote, equating to 22,855 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 11,923 were male, constituting 52.2%, and 10,932 were female, making up 47.8%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Meade County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 75.2%.
