NO TRAVEL ADVISED IN LEAD:
Due to the freezing rain and snow last night, Lead streets are extremely icy and dangerous to be driving on. Please stay home and refrain from driving on these steep streets. There have been multiple accidents. If you are walking, also be extremely careful on the sidewalks and streets. The street department is working hard to get these streets cleared and safe, please stay home if you can. Please spread the word. In advance, the City of Lead thanks you for your support.
